"Siam Sunset"

Two local gendarmes are shown as well (this was taken in Cannes). Screenings
for SIAM SUNSET were so successful that people had to be turned away -- more
wanted to see the film than there were seats available. French Railway Workers
awared the film the "Rail D'or" to show their appreciation for the film.

SIAM SUNSET is about a man who works for a paint company who goes into the desert to find inspiration for a new colour (hence the film title) and also finds Danielle's character. It is billed as a romantic comedy.

The following article quote is from the Australian magazine WOMENS DAY, and comes courtesy Mark Allen.

"Shot in the dust, heat, and flies of the Australian desert, it's the quirky
story of Perry (played by Linus Roache), a Brit who wins the Aussie bus tour
from hell as a bongo prize. As he's a colourist with a paint company, he makes
it his personal odyssey to find Siam Sunset -- a colour so perfect it will free
him from his life of torment. Wherever Perry goes, disaster follows (natural
or man-made). When he meets up with Danielle's character, Grace, who's
fleeing a violent past and a nasty ex-lover, the chemistry is explosive."
