The 4th annual Pet-Family Reunion held on the
Jax Humane Society
grounds was a fun and
informational way for the community to see how much hard work is going into
solving the epidemic of pet overpopulation. Along with many local pet rescue
groups, there were pet food sponsors such as
Science
Diet , and the Greater
Jacksonville Disc & Dog Club (link soon). Some of the frisbee dogs were
even adopted from the humane society.
Winner in
the
"A face only a mother could love"
category
Granny Grunts
and some of her
friends were on hand to add a little bit of a distraction to all the woofers
that had never seen such a well dressed pig before !! Mrs. Browning is the
local contact for any pigs in need :)
Sharron Schumacher, president of the NE Florida Doberman
Club, was also in

There is always a Blessing
of the Animals, for those that are with us, those that have passed, and those
that unfortunately may not get adopted in time.
