National Homeless Animal Day

Thanks to all the people that attended this years candlelight vigil at Friendship Park.

Members from the local humane society, animal control, JCAR, rescue groups and private

people all took time out of their day to remember those less fortunate animals that have no

home or family to call their own. Many people shared their thoughts and poems about the

plight of those animals needing homes. To all those that have taken in a shelter or rescue pet,
