--Updated the Dragon Warrior 3 patch to version 1.05; should be the final version.

Hi, and welcome to my simple website.  Many of you may have read my Dragon Warrior 2 and 3 NES FAQs that I have had since 1996. I have finally decided to create a webpage for viewing my FAQs. I may add a few things in the future, but this site will primarily be used to display the latest versions of my FAQs.

You can now download my Dragon Warrior Monsters, Dragon Warrior 1&2, and Dragon Warrior 3 IPS patches below.  If you’ve played these games very much, you’ll notice that there are several minor spelling errors and inconsistencies from previous DW games.  Using simple hex-editing methods, I was able to correct most of these problems, and make some aesthetic changes as well.  You will need ROM images of the games and a Gameboy emulator to use the patches.  Please be sure you own the game cartridges before using the patch.  I cannot supply you with ROM images, so please don’t ask.  If you own the cartridges, you should be able to find the ROMs by searching the web.  Support ENIX by buying the game.  Doing so will enable us to enjoy future Dragon Warrior titles in the US.  Information on applying the IPS patches can be found in the readme files included with the patches.

The Lunar DexDrive file below contains some save games from various points in the Lunar games, a total of 20 in all, check it out! See the text descriptions of each save in your DexPlorer program for information. Also included in the ZIP file is version 1.6 of the Lunar 1 FAQ, and version 1.2 of the Lunar 2 FAQ. You will need a DexDrive to use these save files. The DexDrive is a device that allows you to copy PSX save files to your PC for backup and trading purposes. They can be purchased at many stores; try http://www.ebgames.com.

I have also included maps of Dragon Warrior 2 and 3 for those that want them. The DW2 map is a screenshot from the Japanese Super Nintendo game: Dragon Quest 1&2 remake. To help you out a little, Zahan is on the tiny islands in the lower right of the map. Osterfair is on the round island on the right side of the map. Beran is on the large piece of land in the lower left of the map. Where you see the feather on the map is the continent of Alefgard, where Tantegel castle is.
The DW3 map is similarly from the Japanese SNES game: Dragon Quest 3 remake. The yellow dots indicate towns, and the purple dots are caves or towers. Notice how the map looks like Earth. Romaly=Rome, Italy; Portoga=Portugal; Eginbear=England; and Greenlad=Greenland. Each of these places is roughly in the correct location. Eginbear is on the island at the yellow dot on the NorthWest corner of the map; the tiny village of Lazuami is the yellow dot at the SouthEast part of the map; and the location of the New Town is the Easternmost yellow dot.

If you have any questions with any game covered in my FAQ, click the link at the bottom to Email me at daniel0777@aol.com. I can also help you with other RPG/Adventure games, including the following:
Final Fantasy 1-8, Dragon Warrior/Quest 1-6 (check my FAQs on DW2 and 3!), Secret of Mana series (Seiken Densetsu 1-3), Lufia 1 and 2, Breath of Fire 1-3, Lunar 1 and 2 for Sega CD and PSX, Chrono Trigger, The Legend of Zelda 1-5, Star Ocean 1 and 2, and Soulblazer. I may not know EVERYTHING about these games (especially not the Japanese ones), but I should be able to help you if you are stuck and can't figure out what to do next.

You can view or download any of the files below. The text files are best viewed with WordPad for Windows 95 or 98, so I advise you to download them for best viewing. Enjoy!
