Ogham-Quilt machine applique and embroidery. Surface embellishment in cotton hemp. Hand painted fabric, hemp, cotton. Polyester batting.



Ruins of Castle Lachlan-Quilt is mostly hand dyed hemp with some cotton and silk. Machine appliqueand quilting. Garnet beads. Machine thread painting. 48" by 48". Juried into the World Quilt Competition at World Quilt and Textile 1998. The real castle is on the banks of Loch Fyne in Scotland.




My version of Celtic cordware pottery filled with oak and ivy leaves.





Quilt detail. Vase with the Russian Firebird, from a fable of a young woman who did the finest ofneedlework and was turned into the Firebird by a jealous sorcerer.





Needlewoven pectoral necklace in cotton and silk threads. Picture jasper, amber,smoke quartz, flower jasper, moss agate, copper. Copper wirework, macrame', embroidered.
