These rosters were taken from the Compiled Service Records of Confederate Soldiers, National Archives, a microfilm publication.  This material is shared with us by Darrell Ertzberger. Any questions concerning the original publication or entries should be directed to him.    These pages are not a "reference" for your genealogy and can not be used as documentation but merely a "clue" that some record exists and perhaps "help" in location of the actual documentation you need.

Documentation on the 34th regiment is spotty.  It is obvious that the Compiled Service Records has major gaps, as do most records of the Army of Tennessee, when compared to records of other regiments in the Army of Northern Virginia.  I do have a brief and probably incomplete History of the 34th Georgia.

At present (23 Sept 1997), only data for the companies E (Jackson County), G and I, ( both Franklin County) have been compiled.
