TIPS
Many of you have asked about 'downloading' images from this site. As long as you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) or Netscape Navigator, these tips will be of use:

Windows:
The oft-unused 'alternate' mouse button comes in very handy when browsing the web! (For most users, this is the 'right' mouse button) Simply click this button while the cursor is on the image you'd like to save, and select 'Save Image As...' from the menu that pops up. All of my scans have been saved with DOS-friendly names, so there's no need to worry about file extensions.

Macintosh:
Since most Macs come with a single button mouse, the technique is a bit different. Instead of 'right-clicking' on the image you want, simply press and HOLD the mouse button while the cursor is on the image. After a second or so, a menu will pop up, at which time you can select 'Save Image As...'.

Notes for commerical online services:
America Online - Be sure to upgrade to the latest AOL client (4.0) - the new browser is based on MSIE code and is FAR more capable than the old one. It's well worth the free download!

Prodigy Internet - If you're a Prodigy Classic member, I recommend switching over to the Prodigy Internet service. There's a flat rate of $19.95 for unlimited usage, and a wealth of internet tools are included.
