Welcome to the Dan Bacon Web Site! The purpose of this site: is to introduce a new artist and a new voice into an industry that has been dull and generic for some time, to find an audience that appreciates intelligent songwriting and arrangements, and to expose new musical art to open ears.
Sounds like a theme paper doesn't it. Actually, Dan is a Singer/Songwriter form Savannah Ga. who has recently moved to Charleston SC. His music and voice are emotional and original. He sings about his own life experiences. He has been criticised for writing too many "hurt by love" songs and truthfully because he's not afraid to put his heart out on the table, many of his songs do express times in his life when he was alone.
Please feel free to travel all through the site. Check my links and don't forget to write me and let me know what you think.

Hey got some pretty exciting news about a few friends of mine. Looks like another of Savannah's bands are now out supporting their new CD:
Spluff Katunga These are some very good friends of mine who are all outstanding musicians. I was fortunate enough to have played in a band with Toby back in 89. Spuff is making a lot of great noise right now in Savannah. Their first recording is a compact disc called "the first time". To find out more on this band click HERE.
Greg Williams I hope you'll also check out one of my vey favorite singer/songwriters. He's also from Savannah, and friend of mine. Once you hear his music - you'll be hooked. I've always like he accoustic music best although he writes "In Your Face Rock" and preffers to play the blues.Go visit Greg at: gregwilliams.com I think you'll be happy you did.
Make sure to bookmark this page and return often. Hope to see or hear from you soon!
