My Testimony
Greetings, my name is Debra. I'm an Internet
Tele-Evangelist for Jesus Christ, wife and mother
of two children. I have lead many people to true
salvation through my Internet witnessing for 10
years now, and God has been doing the increase.
Being happily married for 28 years, I have a been
"Domestic Administrator" for 27 years. I'm from
Ohio, but now live in Columbus, Ga. I'm Apostolic
Oneness Pentecostal. Its true that we all must
"repent of all wrong doing" and "accept/believe on
the Lord Jesus". Most any "professed believer"
will tell you that, but will short change you
concerning the full gospel.
What most of them will not tell you (and explain fully)
is what the most important requirements are, which are:
1) obtaining the "birth of the water", and
2) obtaining the "birth of the Spirit". This is the
(complete) "New Birth" experience. Jesus told us that
without both the birth of the water, and the birth of the
spirit, we cannot enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:5).
The "Kingdom of God" is actually another term for
"Salvation", or "[true]Christianity". In order to "enter
into the Kingdom", these TWO steps must be taken
(in any order) to be "born again". We must be "born"
(baptized) of the water in the name of Jesus
(Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5). Jesus was not talking
about "water breaking" in the mother's womb. That is
a ridiculous falsehood created by Satan. The birth of
(baptism in) the water is the prescribed method of "taking
on the name of Jesus", and being "washed in is blood"
(Acts 4:12). Examples of this are found in the book of Acts,
chapters 8, 10, 19, and 22. It was part of the first
"alter call" when the Church was born on the Day of
Pentecost (Acts ch 2). Do not believe the false doctrine
that "water baptism is a work" and is not required.
Jesus commanded it in Mark 16:16 and
Matthew 28:19.
To all that believe in the Bible:
Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach
the gospel to every creature. Are we to obey the Word of
God, or the "traditions of men"? Are we to obey Acts 2:38,
or make some excuse on "how it does not apply" to us?
If Acts 2:38 applies to us, why do most churches "repeat"
the command of Jesus and no obey the command, as Peter
and the Apostles did? How can you obey Matthew 28:19
without obeying what Acts 2:38 says about remission of sins
since Peter revealed what the name was? It is obedience to
the Word of God that will lead us to salvation, and not our
own private interpretations. We must not blindly accept
"church tradition" or just accept the portions of the
scriptures that sound "easy" to us.
John 5:39
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have
eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
John 7:38
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said,
out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Acts 17:11
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in
that they received the word with all readiness of mind,
and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things
were so.
