John GORDON married Barzillah MARTIN.

John Gordon born ca 1772 in Orange Co., VA was the oldest son of Thomas

GORDON and Sarah FLYNN. The family moved to Surry County, North

Carolina. John married spouse #1, Barzillah MARTIN, born 7 Apr 1774 in

Virginia, daughter of John MARTIN and Sarah SIMPSON. The marriage was

about 1791. Barzillah died about 1834 in Pinnacle, N.C. John GORDON

married spouse #2, Mary Tuttle on 23 Dec 1834. He died in 1839 in

Pinnacle, North Carolina.

The children were all born in Stokes County, North Carolina

Thomas GUYMON 23 Feb 1809 in N.C.

Virginia Jane (Jennie) GORDON Born 31 May 1792(1793) Died 1 Dec

I have since gotten a look at these books myself and they are a great source of information.  They have a large selection of personal Genealogys from different periods of time. they also have some great pictures in it.
