This list attempts to chronicle the live shows and recordings of Ian Gillan. It concentrates on the time spent outside of Deep Purple (detailed elsewhere, see links) and is not intended to constitute a discography. Anyone who has information to add to or correct the entries on the list (even if only spelling or geographical errors) is asked to e-mail nigelyoung@aol.com with details. All contributors will be credited.

They very kindly let us. (I was more cynical and smashed my own stuff at the end of tours!). The German audience didn't really approve. Contributions from and thanks to: Ozzie Adenborg, Jim Collins, Jim Corrigan, Uwe Gerecke, Roger Glover, Fedor de Lange, Glen Miller, Stathis Panagiotopoulus, Simon Robinson (DPAS), Stephen Thomson, Bernie Torme, Stephen Wunrow and my own archives. Apologies if I've missed anyone.
I have included [ ] so the list might be printed as a resource for collectors. I have avoided the temptation of highlighting those non-Purple shows that I have got (sadly not enough) but would be interested in hearing from anyone with good quality tapes to trade who can send me their lists.
In time, I hope to add to this series with details of the careers of the other members of Deep Purple.
