Andrea in New Zeland has provided us with pictures of her placemats
using the Chico and Carmen sets. She also did some decorative stitching along the
top, bottom and sides to brighten up the placemats. Cute idea and very creative!

Charlotte has demonstrated that you don't have to use the Heavenly Duties on DOW towels. Here she has grouped them on a
pretty light blue shirt with colors of her choice. She has also used all 8 of the
little angels. A delightful addition to any wardrobe!
|

This is the back of Charlotte's shirt. She has decorated the yoke with
the saying of her choice, as well as framing it with the free angel in the Heavenly Duty set, duplicating it to set it on each side of the
saying. This makes such a nice addition to finishing off her project.

The picture opposite is a little gift bag that I made out of a sew out that I
had tossed aside. I have so many 8x8 squares that I use for sew outs...and while I
use some of them for picture books, and stitch some together for little lap quilts, I was
trying to come up with something new. It's a perfect size for a small gift, looks
really cute and so easy to make. I used ribbons for the bag handles and just mitered
the bottom so it would "sit". Hope you enjoy the idea and it will help
some of you to recyle some of your "throw aways" too!

Andrea from New Zealand
sends us these great pictures of Carmen and Chico that she's using on a project. It's hard to see on
these small pictures, but Andrea used metallic thread to give a "zing" to the
decorations on the pots. . |

Andrea again shows us what
she's doing with Carmen. Notice that she too has added
more than one little chicken in picture. Nice to see what our neighbors "down
under" are doing. Thank you Andrea! |

Look at these outfits! Eileen has made reversible outfits for
her little grandchildren using the Sugar and Shorty sets. Here the ensemble for her granddaughter has a
dress, jacket, purse and shoes!
|

Here Eileen shows us the picture of the one for
her little grandson. He has the little short overalls, jacket, hat and tennis!
The boy's outfit uses Shorty, while the girl's uses Sugar. Both are an example of Eileen's beautiful work and
creativity. Thank you Eileen!

Joanne has embroidered the Veggies set on a
denim apron and also placemats. The napkins and placemats are from JC Penny and the
apron from Wal-Mart. What a cute idea for grandchildren or even a patio party! You
can write to her at
|

Here Joanne has used the little glass towels for the Carmen
set and put the days names in the color of the dresses. While she has chosen not to use
all of the designs that are in the set, this certainly shows the versatility of the set!
You can see what Joanne did with the Chico
set on Project 1 page.

Jan Landon won 1st place in
her category with this beautiful and creative wall hanging at the MEEC in Las Vegas.
Congratulations!! Jan resized some of the Chico designs to get the effect she was after. See close ups
of the designs on my Projects 1 page.
|

This is the
back of Jan's wall hanging. She used the material the Chico set was stitched on to
form this wonderful fan! She has created a truly wonderful treasure that she and her
family will be proud of for years to come. This was her first time to enter a
project for judging!! |

A little
closer view of Jan's beautiful project. |

Another pic of Jan and one of Jan and Mary. The
pictures below show some of Mary's many talents. These ladies are close friends and
enjoyed the MEEC in Las Vegas!
|

Mary has done it again! Here she has combined the Carmen and Chico designs and used them
in her "Soul Mates" shirt. As usual, her creativity shows in her original
idea for the use of the designs.
|

A view of the back of Mary's shirt using the Carmen and Chico designs.. Mary
helps me proof some of my designs, and always offers to sew up a sample for my web page.
As you can see, her ideas are creative and original. Thank you Mary
|

Wow what a shirt! Mary Lu has used her creativity
with the Chico's Chores set to embellish her denim
shirt. A unique placement of these designs. Thank you for showing this
to us.
|

Another view of Mary Lu's shirt with designs from the Chico's Chores set. This will certainly be a treasure to wear and
enjoy.

Here is a great example of using glass towels and a bright
apron with the Heavenly Duty set. Rita completed these
as a project at a Ladies Retreat and reports they were a big hit. We can see
why! They are another example of lovely work.
|

Shelia has sent us this picture of a wall
hanging that she did using the Angelic Activities designs.
Such a treasure and cute use of the designs!
|

Evelyn has used both the Glamour
Girls and Busy Birds for her very special head wraps
that have become so popular. The designs add that special touch to her lovely work.
|

Once again Evelyn shows us a very special project.
Here she uses the MS towels and the Heavenly Duty set
to complete the towels. The picture is small, but she has used the "free"
design for her Sunday. These would be wonderful in any kitchen!!
|

This darling pillow was
made by Mary in Shreveport for the birth of her neighbor's new grandson. She used
designs from the Shorty set for the new baby... a gift of
love.. and another wonderful idea from a very creative lady! You can write to Mary

Here
are some Mammy towels completed by Deb. She has chosen
her own colors to put on the individual towels and on several she has inserted the name of
the island where she makes these for tourist. They are so special ... Thank
you.
|

These wonderful little dolls are made by
Elke for craft shows that she attends. She advises that they are 10" and tries
to match the material and look of the doll to the Sassy
designs she uses for each. They are adorable!
|

Another pair of little ones with the Sassy designs by Elke. I wish the pictures could be larger.
The detail on these are outstanding.
|

As in the picture above, this is a pillow
made by Elke. The Mammy pillows are 14x14 and Elke uses
material to compliment the embroidery design from the Mammy
sets.
|

Here's another pillow with the Mammy design. Elke has shown such creativity in allowing the
colors of the pillows to compliment the design colors.
|

Sugar is
captured in this pillow. What a wonderful addition to a comfy sofa or used to adorn
a special chair! Thank you Elke.
|

Finally a little angel from the Heavenly Duties set is used for this tooth fairy pillow. Elke
advises that she didn't stitch out the cloud fill, but rather let the satin show thru and
the cloud is outlined only in the final stitching of the design. On the reverse
side, she adds a pocket for the tooth and money. What little one wouldn't love this
pillow?
