History

I first became interested in Breeding Ragdolls in 1988. I consider myself a devoted and loving Ragdoll Breeder and I am completely hooked on this marvellous cat  breed. I specialise in breeding the most beautiful Raggies possible. All my Ragdoll kittens and cats receive the best care and attention that they deserve and require. I pay the utmost attention to the health of each and every one of my cats and kittens, they all receive regular check-ups by a licensed veterinarian.

Location

My Ragdoll Cattery is situated in the wonderful country area of Wymondham, Norfolk, England, which is a part of England that is still unspoilt by factories, housing estates and overpopulation. We still have beautiful clean air here for ALL our Ragdolls to breathe. I maintain a modest-sized cattery. ALL my Ragdolls live indoors. The Studs have their own rooms with access to protected outside pens so they can enjoy the fine mild weather. My entire life is devoted to CATS!

Breeding Programme

I also pay special attention to the genetics and selective breeding of all my Ragdolls, as it is really important to keep the breed as strong and healthy as possible:

First, I breed for the outstanding mild temperament for which Ragdoll cats are famous.

Second, I am proud of my Ragdoll's fantastic deep blue eyes, some even going onto the purple shades.

Third, is the quality of my Ragdoll's coat pattern

Fourth, is size--the Ragdoll cat is famous for its great build.

My show/breeding quality Ragdoll cats are of excellent quality: anyone that has ever entered one of my precious Raggies for competitive shows has never come away  with less than a First Place Ribbon. Many of my Raggies have gone on to win Best in Show or Best of Breed.

Health

I personally supervise everything to do with my cattery. I always maintain that one can never be too careful with hygiene and safety. All my Ragdoll cats and kittens have regular check ups with the Veterinarian. They have all their regular vaccinations, which always includes the Leukaemia vaccine: this vaccine has been thoroughly tested in the United Kingdom and it is completely safe. It takes many years for new vaccines to be approved and each vaccine must meet strict health and safety requirements.

Prospective Homes

I place my kittens to people who can supply me with good references. I take my responsibility for finding excellent homes for these precious beauties very seriously. Prospective homes must have plenty of time to spend with the new member of their family and give them plenty of love and attention--they become accustomed to individual attention in my home. I also very much appreciate a regular report and photo's of my kittens. Whenever and wherever possible, I try to personally deliver the kittens to their new homes.

My Lines

All of my kittens are registered with either GCCF, CA/FIFe, TICA, or CFA. I breed for all the Ragdoll patterns and colours. I breed from the Authentic English lines (Blossom Time). I also have USA Lines. My newest imports from USA are a Tortie Ragdoll and a Lynxpoint Ragdoll kitten. Click here to see them.   I hope to be breeding these beautiful and exotic colours and patterns in the near future.
