Exorcism and Deliverance
Jesus Christ is the Exorcist and the Deliverer. Jesus exorcised many demons while on earth. The demons recognized that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The demons knew they were under his spiritual authority. Demons cried, shrieked, and begged for Jesus to leave them alone.
Jesus Christ did not hesitate to exercise his authority over demons. He gave demonized people their freedom. Our present time is more advanced but the spiritual realm remains the same. People still have demons. Jesus Christ still sets people free through the power of his blood.
"Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, saying, "let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy One of God!" But Jesus rebuked him, say, "Be quiet, and come out of him!
And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out the him." Mark 1:23-26 NJV
