Since becoming facinated with the American Pioneer Era several years back and becoming tired of the rat race, our family has had a dream of homesteading.

We started out at a 1 acre home in Landenberg, PA. We gardened, canned, dryed, salted, but were still too close to civilization to really make a change.

In May of 1998, we relocated to North Carolina and are living in an apartment until we find that perfect piece of country.
