| Tourist sytle shot near castle ...I'm not possitive, but the second picture on page 2 is a picture of the Girke Estate, or Castle in the Timber Woods, Wulfsburg Germany, I believe it was destroyed by british bombers in the spring of 1942 |

| Appears to be a high ranking officer...these guys are definitely werhmacht, as indicated on the cap insignia (not
the soft caps but the peaked caps) The picture entitled high ranking officer, fyi, is late war. Probably 43 or so. This is when The Whermacht started issuing the low boots and gaiters seen in that photo. The officer appears to be a luentnant or oberluentnant |
