We are always pleased to offer any advice to people thinking of owning a Basset for the first time either as a pet or for showing .
We are happy to see visitors to meet our hounds – both young and old – to decide if Bassets are the dog for them. If we have no puppies available we will be able to tell you of our future breeding plans or , of course , point you towards other reputable breeders with puppies.
The future welfare of our puppies is of utmost importance to us and we have always aimed to keep in regular contact with all DEREHEATHS throughout their lives. Indeed many of our owners have returned to us for a second hound and become our personal friends.
