Dereheath Digger Barnes Wins his Junior Warrant
Dereheath Digger Barnes George (Dereheath Jailhouse Rock around Siouxline x Dereheath Delicious Daisy) pictured here with handler Judith Murray who jointly owns him with Roger Fitzpatrick-Odahamier has gained a Junior Warrant under the new regulations. This is only the third Basset to our knowledge to do so . Judith and Roger also own and show his litter sister Dereheath Sue Ellen . These two are their first show dogs .
Dereheath Keegan at Gettistown wins his third green star
Dereheath Keegan at Gettistown (Bassbarr Festive Cheer x Barratini Pickles of Dereheath) owned and shown by Jackie Clyde in Northern Ireland gained his third Green Star at the Irish Kennel Club Show over the festive season . He went on to win Best of Breed and was considered in the Group. Bentley has won consistantly thoughout the year with 10 Reserve Green Stars also to his Credit.
Congratulations to Corrine Mummery's Zara (Dereheath Scheherazade at Prebendsgate) who has qualified for Crufts 2000.
Margaret Gillespie's Watson (Dereheath Romeo) - ably handled by David Todd and Paul Conway- has won 9 Best of Breeds on the way to winning 5 Best Puppy in Show awards. Watson has also qualified for Crufts 2000.
We have to thank Iris Goodsell who owns and has campaigned Huggy (Dereheath Hugga Bull) - Mini Wire Dachshund - sucessfully all year, the highlight of which was Reserve Best Dog at Bournemouth Championship Show.
