Purpose:

• Exalt Jesus Christ in all we do.
• Express and acknowledge the unique needs of pastors' wives by cultivating relationships in a safe atmosphere that enhances personal grwoth.
• Enrich pastors' wives in all areas of their lives.
• Encourage pastors' wives during all stages of their ministry and life.

Goals:

• Establish quarterly events which would:
  A. address the unique needs of pastors' wives; and
  B. enable pastors' wives to cultivate relationships.
• Develop a network of small local groups that meet on a regular basis to establish relationships.
• Launch a quarterly newsletter that probides cohesion, inspiration and practical assistance.

    P.O.W.E.R. is "not just another meeting"!  It is designed to meet the specific needs of pastors' wives... addresing issues, sharing situations, and reaching out out in friendship.
    The life and times of a pastor's wife have rapidly changed during the past 20 years.  Dramatic changes in lifestyles have occurred.  Concerns of the 90's which perplex secular families are of tentimes magnified in the ministry family.
    The Pastors' Outreaching Wives Enrichment Resource (P.O.W.E.R.) is designed to provide an understanding network of kindred spirits in a safe environment independent of the local church and denomination.  Our vision is to provide quarterly events with relevant speakers in addition to local groups of six to eight pastors' wives meeting regularly in geographic proximity.
