
Dale Furutani is the first Asian American to win major mystery writing awards. He has won the Anthony Award, the Macavity award, and been nominated for other awards, including the Agatha Award. He's also been invited to speak at the U. S. Library of Congress, The Japanese American National Museum, The Wing Luke Asian museum, and many conferences and universities.
