D.R. Greenlaw: CG Artist & Animator

D.R. Greenlaw has created animation and visual effects for several feature films, national broadcast commercials, and network television programs. He has also created character designs for major animation studios, and storyboards and conceptual art for original movies seen on Sci-Fi Channel and HBO. Past clients and employers include Disney, Klasky-Csupo, UFO, Encore Visual Effects, Harcourt Brace, Computer Sciences Raytheon, Pan Am, & Wizards of the Coast.

D.R. is currently on staff with Rhythm & Hues' Black Box Unit.

Some recent projects are:

Judah Ben Earnhardt - a commercial for Electronic Arts in which the classic Ben Hur chariot race was completely recreated in CG, but with NASCAR racers in place of chariots. This spot was directed by John-Mark Austin.

Cingular: Spiderman - a 'tie-in' commercial for Cingular and the Spiderman movie. Spidey swings through CG cityscapes designed to look like highly detailed pencil drawings. Directed by Sam Raimi and John Dykstra!

Master of the Sixth Speed - a four-minute anime-style short film for Nissan.

Falcon Down - D.R. was CG Supervisor and Lead Animator/Designer for this sci-fi action movie starring Judd Nelson, Dale Midkiff, and William Shatner.
