This is my QSL card. The card pictures Kansas City's famous Nichols Fountain on the Country Club Plaza. The photo was taken by Don Yaworski and used with his permission.
I live in Overland Park, Kansas which is a suburb of Kansas City located 12 miles from the downtown area. I worked for the IBM Corporation for 30 years and recently retired. Amateur radio has been my hobby since 1991 when I received my first license. I now hold an Advanced Class operator's license and my interests in ham radio are DX'ing and contesting. I am a member of the Kansas City DX Club and a member of the Santa Fe Trail Amateur Radio Club. My station is powered by a Yaesu FT-1000MP and the Yaesu Quadra amplifier. The antenna system is a Mosley TA-33 for 10M/15M/20M and a Cushcraft R5 for 12M/17M. Enjoy your visit to my home page and good DX'ing.
