The
most common requests were in regard to the games with ordinary
dice. People began sending in all sorts of names for games,
wanting to know if I knew the rules. Hopefully, the newly expanded
list of RULES will help answer some
of the requests that I did not get to answer personally.
Others
wrote wanting to know where to buy dice, where to have dice
made, how to find old games, or how to tell what their dice
were made from. I've tried to address some of these issues in
the TOYS section.
In
response to various other requests, I have greatly expanded
the sections on POLYHEDRA, ROLE-PLAYING,
CRAPS, THE ARTS,
and PSYCHIC DICE, and added a new
HISTORY section. I have added lots
of new photographs and ray-traced illustrations to the site,
and incorporated a blue-marble-on-black motif, to create a modern
"3D" look and feel for the site.
I hope you like the new site, and find it useful.
And
on a personal note... don't just hoard your dice in a closet...
get them out and play a game with your kids. If you don't have
kids, play a game with someone else's kids.
Let me know what you think of the changes we've made. Speak
up if you see a mistake or omission. And, of course, it's always
great to hear positive comments, as well.
...or better yet, just send me some DICE!!!
: )
May the bones roll forever in your favor,
