Miles Rainwater and Nancy Miles Rainwater (this is where they enter my line), their daughter Vashti is my ggggrandmother. Vashti married David Crossley. Tradition has it that David Crossley's mother's maidename was BOBO and proving that is where the thrust of my research is at present. Any comments? Adam Fisher and Elizabeth Gaar were direct ancestors of mine. According to our records and the DAR of my great grandmother, she was Elizabeth Gaar. Her daughter Ann married Henry Kalfus. They had Simeon Kalfus who married Ann Waller Robvinson. They had Lucy Kalfus. She married Coleman Frederick. Soleman and Lucy had Annie Kalfus Frederick who married John Leonard Zimmerman. Their only surviving child was my grandfather John Wesley Zimmerman.

Any comments? Hi Lisa-love you page-nice to see all the Rainwater researchers out there. I'm desc through William and Elizabeth (Lucas) Rainwater-the other William in Marengo Co.,Ala. They had 3 sons Richard, John R. and Elkaney L. William was deceased by Apr 1839 and Elizabeth then married Cornelious Holliman. Elkaney remained in Ala and John R. and Richard moved to Ms between 1850-1860. Have tried to trace as many descendants as Icould. Richard and John R. were in Winston Co.,Ms for awhile then Richard moved to Attala Co and John R moved to Franklin and Lincoln Co's. I have a large data base on the Rainwater lines as I'm currently trying to sort out families. There are so many mistakes already on several southern Rainwater that I'm trying to document. Abraham Sink 12-18-1845" posted on October 30, 1998. Laura said: "I have an Elizabeth Fisher, b. abt1827/28 in Franklin Co, VA. She was the daughter of Jacob and Sarah (Pefley) Fisher. Jacob was the son of Peter and Elizabeth (Altick) Fisher. Peter was the son of Jacob and Mary M. (?) Fisher. Jacob was the son of Adam Fisher. Elizabeth's siblings were Anna, Samuel, Mary, Susan, Catherine, Sarah Jane (my line), Jacob, Jr, Hannah, George, and Martha. When I was in Franklin Co. in May of 1997, I found the tombstone of your Elizabeth; the inscription follows: Sarah Elizabeth wife of Abram Sink Died July 22 1905 Aged 79 Years Thy trials ended thy rest is won." Nancy and Aaron Burleyson settled in Dade Co.Mo. after time in Jackson, Miss. and Helpstead Co. Ark. She died in Dade Co. Mo. Jan. 5, 1883. Any comments? My husband's name is Robert C. Fisher. I have traced his ancestors back into Missouri back to about 1830. I don't see a tie-in with what you have listed, but I will double check later. His family migrated from Missouri to Arkansas to Oklahoma Territory. I haven't posted our info yet, but will. There is supposed to be Indian heritage in his family. Thus far I haven't found it, but family stories refer to it. Also, one of his aunts (deceased in 1932 I think) was supposed to have attended an Indian school in Oklahoma. Still working on all that. But enjoyed your info. Thank you.
