About this Site |
The Antique Radio Page was started on February 3, 1996. The goal is to provide you with a quick way to have fun learning about old radios. If this is your first visit, familiarize yourself with all areas. Navigation is straightforward: the green "tuning eye" always takes you back to the front page. Subsidiary pages usually have a graphic menu as well. View this site with your browser full screen, use a display size of 800 x 600 pixels or better, and set your video driver for as many colors as possible (millions of colors). Nearly every image was created using a Snappy and a Sony color video camera. Each image is then significantly reduced for this site. All images have been optimized to give you the quickest load time. About Me...
My name is Don Adamson. I'm a collector of old radios, mainly tube-type table radios from the 30s to the 50s. I am especially interested in radios of deco or machine age design. |
