[Airline 93BR-509A]

A nicely styled radio, repainted in original color. Contributed by Mike Anderson.

[Arvin 602A]
Arvin 602A (1939)
A deco bakelite radio. The image doesn't show the curved handle, but since this picture was taken I have acquired one (thanks to a helpful visitor).

[Emerson 19] Reverse: [Emerson 19 (back)]
Emerson 19 (1935)
An early deco bakelite radio with back.

[Fada L-96W]
Fada L-96W (1939)
Another neat deco radio; bakelite.

[Fada S46]
Fada S46 "Silent Radio" (1938)
An interesting deco bakelite radio from Fada. It's called the "Silent Radio" because you could connect the Fada "Mystic Ear" to the back (this was probably a pillow speaker). Using the "Mystic Ear Switch," you could listen to the radio only, both the radio and the pillow speaker, or just the pillow speaker. If anyone has a Fada "Mystic Ear," I'd be interested in hearing from you.

[GE H-500U]
General Electric H-500U (1939)
An interesting radio with very strong machine age styling. Tuned via a large thumbwheel in the center. This small set is only about nine inches long.

[GE H-611 (front)] Reverse: [GE H-611 (back)]
General Electric H-611 (1939)
This set has a nicely swirled bakelite case and a full back.

[Kadette 90] Reverse: [Kadette 90, Reverse]
Kadette 90 (1933)
This early bakelite radio has great, cameo-style decorations on the front and a full bakelite back.

[Silvertone 4500A]
Silvertone 4500A (1936)
An early black plastic radio. Grille cloth not original. Contributed by Mike Anderson.

[Silvertone 6103A]
Silvertone 6103A (1937)
A nicely styled ivory plastic radio. The case completely encloses the radio chassis.
