Alphabetical index of radios on the Web
1508 models listed; updated 10 Apr 99

Welcome to the Antique Radio Page Directory!
This is an ambitious project: the goal is to provide you with a directory of antique radios from web sites around the world. The ARP Directory points you to web sites which have information about a radio of interest, saving you the trouble of plowing through hundreds of sites (some of which do not have an index).
The ARP Directory is not a substitute for any site's own index; only older radios are listed here, and many sites have other interesting things listed in their indexes.
By the way, if you were looking for the Antique Radio Page's index, try here.

How to Use the Directory

First, decide what you're looking for. The ARP Directory is organized alphabetically by manufacturer or brand name, then by model number or name.
Second, use the alphabetical navigation box (at the top of every screen) to go to the correct section.
Third, find your manufacturer; there's a list under the navigation box on every alphabetical page. Click on the manufacturer to dive into the listing.
You now have a list of models from that manufacturer. Each model has one or more web site codes next to it (in parentheses). Clicking on those will send you to individual web sites. Each site has a picture and more information about the radio. Sites codes are defined below.
Each link to the Antique Radio Page, code (ARP), will take you directly to the appropriate exhibit. Links to other sites will either take you to the site's index, or to the site's main page.
If the model name or number of a radio is unknown, it's listed as "UNK."
The ARP Directory contains tube radios, transistors, and crystal sets. Radios made after the 1960s aren't included.

Site Codes

New sites will be indexed by the ARP Directory on a frequent basis. If you're a collector with a web site displaying antique radios, you'll eventually be indexed here.
