Just a quick note of appreciation and thanks for your excellent website devoted to the music and career of Robert Simpson.
I only this week became aware of his recent passing. Without doubt, Dr. Simpson was one of the most significant and effective symphonists of the last half of this century (no slight intended toward his equally profound chamber music!), and indeed he will be sorely missed.
