The Robert Simpson Society Archive and other sources
Established early in 1982, the archive was housed in the library of Royal Holloway College, University of London, England. Following on the retirement of Professor Lionel Pike in the autumn of 2005, the Society's archives have been moved and are now under the temporary guardianship of our chairman, Terry Hazell, at his house, until a permanent home is found for them.It contains original manuscript scores and private recordings (now mostly on CD) of live and broadcast performances, as well as articles, reviews, books and broadcasts by Dr Simpson and others, press cuttings and sundry Simpsoniana. It is open to Society members, bona fide students and researchers.
