- webpage. This webpage was about Legend,
- the best movie ever made.
Thats right, this is my Legend page. Legend would have to be one of my favorite movies. Think about it. I mean, legend has everything, love, fantasy, good music, and that mystical look that movie lovers like. I couldn't ask more in a movie, so i just sit and watch this one over and over. I made this page to explain Legend and just tell you what I think about this fine movie. I hope you enjoy my comedic approach of a shrine-website.
Im not obsessed with Legend, i just think it is a great movie, so i bring it to you here on the internet. This was a film made by Ridley Scott, (director of Blade Runner, and Aliens; both good movies) and the main star is Tom Cruise, he made the movie remembered, just because he is a very big actor out there in hollywood land. His co-star is Mia Sara, (Lili) you might remember her form Ferris Buler's Day Off. Anyhow... This movie is about Jack, and Lili, two people in love, Lili being a lords daughter or something ( they don't actually say but my guess is that she is a princess) and Jack being a boy living in the woods, at harmony with the forest animals. The unicorns are balance between night and day, which makes them unique. Darkness (the devil, AKA Tim Curry) is trying to break that balance, so it is always night. That is the basic storyline, and i won't say anymore for those who haven't seen the whole movie. Well, maybe i will. I know most of the people out there wouldnt even look for a Legend page, unless they are infatuated with the movie.

Dont think i havent noticed. Almost every Legend fan-site out there has the same pictures, the same sounds, the same shit. I just visited a website that had the pictures from Umbriels fantastic Legend site, and the march 10th script of The Legend Glen. The site is called Birth of Legends. Im not going to bash anyone's site. I just hate to see other people's work used, then the media is given false credit. I wish most of these people were still updating.
Update: 1/6/02 I emailed the webmaster of Birth of Legends and she didnt know who's the content was. Its an honest mistake... and since not everyone is updating anyways.. no one can tell you different. Im somewhat glad to see stuff appearing in other places. I was just pissed at the time, i guess i was trying to defend an old buddy.

These sites will always be around and always know as the best Legend sites on the net, all because of their original content. Visit these sites. If you like what you see and you want it for your website, give the person credit, or just dont say anything at all. If you dont say anything, odds are people will let it slide. There are too many people building sites from the hard work of others, including myself. I use alot of other stuff people have fabricated to gain popularity for this site. Maybe its about time something was said about it.
1/6/02: I was really thinking about what i said here.. and how i felt about that at the time. We all rip pictures, sounds etc, it cant be stopped. I finally gave into the whole mess of things and all the new Legend websites popping out of everywhere and made the Legend Media Archive. All the media from everysite, and my own home grown Legend EV pics and movie clips. A must see.

LEGEND REMAKE???
You heard right people, someone actually emailed me today and told me that they are in the process of making a Legend remake. I dont know alot of details so far, but it looks like it might be an underground film, so it wont be in theatres, or be for rent at blockbuster, but hey, its Legend. Email Haley for details. **UPDATE 4/21/00 Have not heard anything from haley in a very long time.. but i suggest you keep the emails flowing to her, amybe she will get off her butt and email me with some good news!**

Need Legend Based WAV files? guess what..? i have a vast archive of them, all in ZIP format. Some very long.. some short, all very good quality. Just go ahead and click here. Just a reminder... they are in .ZIP format, but i give you all the tools to unzip... dont worry. Im up to 27 seperate sounds, 10 of which are over a minute in length. Over a minute! yes thats what i said... If there are broken links on this site, please tell me, i have been having complaints. **Have pinpointed the problem with the links, the links are fine, its the files, they dont seem to be all readable. Lately, the roleplaying group sadly dissolved; and ill tell you why. 1/6/02: Decided to talk a little about this. The RPG kicked up for a while, but has sadly broke down once again. When you think things are up, they go down. Not everyone has the time to be online anymore i guess. If you have ideas for a Legend RPG let me know and we can talk. Oh and finally i did have my hand in the Legend mailing list RPG and im still moderator but again, things are dead. AOL roleplaying anyone? Crossroads style biznatch.

Updates. This is my first update in a long time, and i wouldnt have updated all together if i hadent seen all the new Legend pages out there. Im out classed and out matached, and i need to bring some life to my webpage once again. So for you people who come back often to see whats new, you will be very pleased because i havent decided to keep the updates bi-weekly. To keep up with all the new blood of course, and im not exactly new blood. DPOL is almost 2 years old! (counting the time i got on the ring, till present)

4-24-00 update. Not alot to update.. just comments on little things i have been meaning to keep up with. I will eventually have more pictures.. October 4th 2001.. I havent updated in a while i know. Im not really going to do much because i have a full time job and shit to take care of etc. I love Legend, and i always will, but i wont always have time for this website. I made a few corrections this time around and upload the 1.07 meg .zip file with all the pictures in it that i ripped from everyone else. I bet everyone will be pissed at me.. but oh well! This whole terrorist thing in america sucks, i really dont know what to say about it. Maybe if i watch Legend enough ill be sucked into the TV where i can hang out with the Legend Crew and stay away from this dreary life in the real world. Thats why i like this movie so much, its fantasy. Fantasy is not real, and i wish i could be part of it anyways. Thats why i got into reading fantasy books, and watching fantasy movies.. My parents were getting divorced and it was a distraction from my broken ass home to somewhere better. I roleplayed like a little demon, and i still havent stopped. Life really isent that good for me right now, so i dont see myself stopping anytime soon. Anyways, remember kids.. FANTASY = PROZAC.
January 6th, 2002: This is my first update in a long time, but i saw so many errors and things i didnt mean to say, i had to change some things. First off ive made a site, dedicated to everyone elses stuff, and some new video clips ive made. Visit there. Life has pretty much been the same. Things are up and down.. but i have a new job that pays good and a new car. Finding time for website design has been very hard to find with my new hours, but i managed the new archive site. Ive always wanted to do it, and now its done. This is pretty much what i always wanted my legend site to be like and i think its finally nearing completion, to the point where i wont have to update anymore. I will archive all my old updates and media, and retract all the stuff ive said bad about Tom Cruise. That short little floppy haired bastard. -retraction
I have work in the morning and a terrible cold, so i will let everyone goto bed now. Remember, fantasy is a getaway. Tho its not real, its good to be somewhere else for a moment. God knows it helps me everyday. Peace/Love.
