KOSHER SYMBOLS - using them as a guide for vegan foods

The Union of Orthodox Rabbis symbol (the U with the O or circle around it similar to and often mistaken for ®, the registered trademark, symbol or other kosher symbol with the word "Pareve" or "Parve" written next to it is a relatively good way to tell if a product is vegan and compliant with its own ingredient list, with the exception that Pareve/Parve can still contain fish, eggs, gelatin, or honey.
