- also a good source of omega-3 is walnuts (has 1/7 the amount of omega-3 that flax seeds do)
- olive and canola oil are good
- avoid safflower, sunflower, hydrogenated, and corn oil
- deficiency can lead to circulatory / heart issues, adhd, poor skin and poor wound healing, among other things
