Dogwoods Retreat, a nice modern but rustic mountain home, is available for overnight rentals in Yosemite West, immediately adjacent to Yosemite National Park. Yosemite lodging centrally located with easy access to Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, Badger Pass Ski Area, and the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.
Perfect location: quiet, cool in summer, snow in winter. Only minutes to Badger Pass for downhill or excellent Nordic skiing to Glacier Point on eleven miles of set track. Nice marked trails to Dewey Point and spectacular Yosemite Valley views, Ghost Forest Loop, Limit trail, etc.
Contemporary semi-A frame home in nice area with seasonal stream, large dogwood trees on two sides of the house. Natural vegetation, Sugar Pines, Incense Cedar, Oaks, Firs, lots of Azaleas, ferns, currants, etc. An excellent place for you if you prefer Yosemite lodging with solitude, bird watching, skiing, peace and quiet. Ideal for one or two couples or a family of 4 to 6.

Directions:
Turn off Highway 41 half a mile south of the Glacier Point-Badger Pass turnoff. Follow the main road, Yosemite Park Way, about 2.5 miles, passing the phone booth and mailboxes, to the Scenic Wonders Check-in office to get keys.
