R & R House – Retreats and Reunions for up to 32
Plan your Retreats and Reunions at the R&R House. (Seminars, too!)
“R&R” = “Retreats and Reunions” or “Rest and Relaxation” or
both! Specializing in small seminars,
retreats and reunions for groups up to 32 people in a luxurious setting. Built in 2007, the appliances, big screen TV,
and new furniture are of the highest quality.

The R&R House, has two units, each of which will seat 22 to 32 in the
main room. Air conditioned, too! The lower R&R House unit will sleep 12 and the upper 10. Add the 10 that nearby RoughHouse.org Cabin sleeps and you can not only seat 32 in one room for Retreats
and Reunions, you can sleep 32
using both buildings. Covered parking
for four cars plus lots more street parking.
Each R&R House unit has a gas fireplace, big-screen TV with DVD and cable, wireless internet, three bedrooms, two bathrooms (we like the double shower!), fully-stocked kitchen including side-by-side fridge, laundry access, hot tub access, room for up to 32 seated, including folding tables and chairs, and beautiful ocean views for your Retreats and Reunions! The R&R House is part of the RoughHouse.org property, with two duplexes on the acre-and-a-half oceanfront property: Rent two, three or all four units and get special rates (click here for rates). Bring pets if you wish! Pets are welcome in the Lower R&R unit and in both Cabin units. No pets in the upper R&R unit please. |

The RoughHouse.org property has four units available for nightly rental:

All Four units (both buildings) have miles of beach views, decks, TV/ DVD/cable, small BBQs and full kitchens with dishwasher, range/oven and microwave. Both buildings are less than 65 yards to the high tide line, with beach access right on the property. Watch the sunset over the ocean from the sheltered hot tub! Make 'smores in the nearby private fire pit (all the fun of camping, with none of the hassles)! 2. What nights would you like to rent?
3. How many in your party are under age 12?

Seminar, Retreats and Reunions information
Details: A damage deposit of $500 is required for the R&R House,
$200 for the Cabin. Pets are $10/night extra
plus an extra $200 damage deposit. The damage deposit is mainly to keep people
who don’t respect property from renting.
We do not charge for the occasional broken plate or glass—these things
happen (not that we want to encourage it!).
We will charge if we find evidence of smoking in the unit or other
flagrant abuse of the property.
Fortunately, we have only had to charge damages very rarely. Reservations will be held for only three days
without payment. Check-out time is 11 AM and check-in time is 6 PM Fridays, 5
PM other days unless other arrangements are made. If you arrive before check-in time, unit may
not be clean. Three night minimum on
holiday weekends; two night minimum on most other weekends. Linens, towels,
kitchen stuff (dishes, coffeemaker, etc.), and a few books, games and DVDs are
provided. All units are wheelchair-inaccessible due to the stairways. Not recommended for mobility impaired,
although we have plans for a future elevator in the R&R House. Other
oceanfront units may also be offered from time to time--check calendar for availability.
Note: The R&R House is brand new in
July 2007. Some trim work has not yet
been finished as materials had to be back-ordered. We chose to rent it out while waiting for
certain trim pieces. Examples:
Dishwasher side panel, furnace intake vent cover, certain cabinet doors.
Prices will rise once we get all trim finished.
No smoking is allowed.
