Reaper Miniatures - Fantasy Miniatures

I painted this figure for the Reaper Spring mini exchange.  I limited my color pallet to earth tones.  Highlights were achived by adding Vallejo Game Color's Bleached Bone to the base colors.  I created a glaze of Flat Earth, and applied this to the hem of the cloak.  I used mostly Vallejo Model Color and Game Color paints on this figure.

I painted this figure for the Reaper Winter mini exchange.  It was painted entirely with Vallejo Model Color and Vallejo Game Color paints.

This was painted as an entry the the 4th Chick Challenge.  I painted in while on vacation in Florida.  It was a great experience to be sitting outside in the sun painting a figure.  I used a limited color pallet, consisting of only two primary colors for the body, and then a single off white color was used to mix with the base colors, creating the lighter shaded.  The original base was removed, and the figure was added to this larger base.  The water way created by taking a large brush and applying gesso to the base, and then highlighting with various blue and green shades.  I added several layers of gloss finish to the water to finish it off.
