While we have always owned and had a love of kitties, we did not obtain our first Persian until 1995. We soon discovered what a wonderful temperament the Persian has and soon acquired other Persians and Himalayans to begin our breeding program in order to share the best of the breed with others. In our opinion, Persians are one of the best breeds, due to their sweet personality and regal appearance. To see a Persian in full show coat is really something to behold.
DreamBabys is a small pedigreed Persian and Himalayan breeding program located in our home in Northwest, Indiana, about 30 miles outside Chicago. All of our kitties and adult females have the run of our home and are raised with lots of love and attention. One of our adoptive parents once remarked that when Sue talks about her kittens and adults, she always refers to them as either babies or kitties and never "cats". This is where the Babys in DreamBabys came from.
The health of our adult females is a primary concern for us, therefore each female produces only one or two litters per year. We handle the kittens from the day they are born and start regular baths by six weeks. This ensures that the kittens are well socialized and used to being groomed. All kittens are CFA and/or TICA registered and sold to select homes only. Our highest priority is placing our babies in a home where they have a safe, clean and loving indoor environment. All kittens are vet checked, vaccinated and must be at least 14 weeks old prior to placement. All kittens are sold with a written health guarantee, medical records, contract, CFA and/or TICA registration papers and pedigree as well as grooming and feeding instructions. All pet quality kittens are sold with strict spay or neuter agreement.
