Dusty Rhodes is a long-time Tri-State area radio personality, first heard on WSAI in 1961. He joined the station as they began their "Top 40" music format and quickly became one of the most successful radio stations in the country. .

His nighttime programs were among the highest rated on WSAI often reaching over 50% of the audience. He also served as the station's Community Affairs Director, Music Director and Program Director.

When the decision was made to bring the Real Oldies back to WSAI Dusty was the first on board and the first voice heard when the station launched on January 3rd, 2003, with the same song Dusty played first when he started at WSAI in 1961, "Take Good Care Of My Baby" by Bobby Vee.
