Several news media people were on hand for the opening weekend including Michael Granbury, staff writer of The Dallas Morning News High Profile section and Don Smith freelance TV reporter. Don and Susan Sanders, authors of "The American Drive-in", were there. There was a very good crowd there even thought the temperture was in the 40's.
I updated this page on 3/12/2000.
