Vets from all war eras share many things in common. It doesn't matter
what war or where or when..
the principles of war remain the same down thru
the ages..
The differences being in the weapons and terrain..
Each Service Branch contributes their part as team players, that ultimately
make up our "Armed Services".
When they come together, in performance, none
can compare to: .............
"OUR TROOPS" ............. "OUR VETERANS".
This is the place where Vets from all eras and all branches, can share
and exchange their stories their experiences,
their memories.... a place
where Vets can make a Connection ...............
Whether you served in WWII, Korea, Nam, Desert Storm, Somalia, Bosnia etc...you can share your feelings, your experiences here.. Send them in to be posted and for others to reply to, add to, or just read and reminisce.. Many times, we cannot express what we would like to say about how or what we feel but others can. When we read it in print, it brings forth other thoughts to add or elaborate on.... I know I can't always express what I am feeling to my husband or children. However, I can express it on paper... so much easier that way. It just flows out word after word.. Sometimes, it makes me feel a whole lot better, other times not.. But I always feel better having gotten it out... Many times I will do in poetry form. I tuck these away in a book that my kids go thru every now and then.. Giving them a better understanding to my feelings about things, my moods, etc... Let this be the book for Vets.. For others to read and get to know about Veterans.. Educating some, and healing for others...
