About The Roto-Duck
This is
Ed's version of the famous Roto-Duck decoy!
It was designed by Ed to be the most realistic moving decoy available. His first Roto-Duck decoy consisted
of just the wings, motor and battery. It worked, but sure needed improvement.
He experimented with different motors and
batteries until he got the "wing" speed just right, with the least amount of battery draw. He then
turned his attention to the body. He tried wooden and aluminum silhouettes and wasn't happy. Ed carved a
pattern and talked to his good friend "Warney"(Warren Neumann), owner of Plasti-Duk
decoy company about making a plastic full body. Warney liked the Idea too and production began. It worked!!
After shooting over it we are all convinced that it is the best moving decoy out there! It worked extremly well
on the calm days when the echo of the call flared them and the other decoys were still.
Ed can now offer the most effecient and life-like
Roto-Duck decoy on the market including these features:
- Low price ($350.00)
- Plastic formed body
- Steel tube Frame
- Aluminum wing
- Roller bearings (wing to fan)
- Lovejoy coupling (motor to fan)
- Battery and box
- Battery charger

First, let me introduce Ed's grandson, Allan VanZant. He guides duck

Al loves to hunt, is fun to hunt with and knows what he is doing. He has great private property leased and is the best
