With General Hospital's Luke and Laura at the height of their popularity in 1981, Guiding Light countered with a super couple of their own -- Quinton and Nola. Over the next four years the couple captured the hearts of millions, even besting Luke and Laura in many soap magazine polls. The couple is still a favorite of many GL fans, even though it's been 12 years since they departed Springfield for a wonderful life together. However, the current regime at GL failed to see this when they brought back Nola and later Quinton. While Luke and Laura were generating great story (and ratings) for GH, GL failed to realize the potential they had to do the same and chose to keep Quola apart. We started this page to honor the illustrious past of Quinton and Nola, and to let newer fans of GL see what they're missing by not seeing these two together, the way they were always meant to be.
