2MASS J and K Photometry Conversion to V-Rc and V-Ic
The conversion formula for V-Rc from 2MASS J-K is based on 39 standard or secondary standard stars. Assume an error of approximately 0.03 mag. This formula is valid for –0.1 < (J-K) < 0.8.
V-Rc = 0.8567*(J-K) + 0.0313, R^2 = 0.97
The conversion formula for V-Ic from 2MASS J-K is based on 46 secondary standard stars. Assume an error of approximately 0.05 mag. This formula is valid for –0.1 < (J-K) < 0.8.
V-Ic = 1.6032*(J-K) + 0.0715, R^2 = 0.97
