The Eagle's Nest of Alabama is exclusively organized and operated for charitable, cultural, educational, patriotic and religious purposes.

The surrounding community benefits through the education of and exposure to the similarities and diversities of Native American culture and tradition.

The Native American People benefits through the perpetuation and furtherance of their culture and tradition.

The Eagle's Nest of Alabama provides a location where Native American People can celebrate, gather and share in a manner devoid of the commercialism of many of today's gatherings and events.

The Eagle's Nest of Alabama provides a location, similar to many traditions that shall be considered a "white-village" or "peace-village".

The planned development of a Memorial to the thousands of Native American Indians who served this country in the Armed Forces. Similar to the various walls already in existence there will be a Memorial Wall for each war since World War I with the names of each Native American Veteran, their branch of service, their rank and their tribal affiliation (if available). Ultimately this Memorial will be available to the family of any Native American Veteran that may wish to hold a "traditional" memorial or honor ceremony for a deceased Warrior.

The Eagle's Nest of Alabama will do its best to embrace, recognize, accept and honor all Native American Indian traditions and cultures in a manner that is acceptable to the Creator, and be done in a good way for our People. As stated below it will be the times that the grounds are not open to the General Public that will make gatherings and pow wows at the Eagle's Nest of Alabama a success among the People. It will be these times that we will be able to educate the young people on the traditions and customs of their ancestors. It will be these times that will keep the heritage of the ancestors alive for future generations.

The primary reward of the Eagle's Nest of Alabama is the provision of a location where Native American People can gather and share their culture and tradition with each other as well as the general public.

A secondary reward is the perpetuation and furtherance of Native American cultures and traditions in a manner that is not driven by the "bottom-line" or almighty-dollar.

Another secondary reward is directly associated with the limitation or restriction of hours that sponsored gatherings are open to the general public. This includes but is not limited to:

(1) The potential for traders to close down their booths in the evening if they so choose and actually participate in the evening private dancing, drumming and singing. Many traders never get the opportunity to participate because they must staff their booths to make sales while the public is in attendance.

(2) A slightly reduced level of infrastructure necessary to the grounds to provide electricity and lighting for operations during the hours of darkness.

(3) The potential for all members of the Native American community to observe or participate in dances or activities that is rarely, if ever, done while the general public is in attendance.
