EarlFixit's Treehouse
Welcome to my treehouse. It is 35 feet from the floor to the ground. Don't look down it is a long way. It is a good place to get out of the cold or just away from the phone. Climb on up and stay a while. Be sure to look at the entire page to see it all.
Sorry but this treehouse is no longer standing. It had to be take down when I moved due to liability.

To get to the tree you will walk into the swamp and across the covered bridge at the bottom then half way up is a small deck. To enter the treehouse you must climb and enter a trap door in the kitchen.
The Kitchen and desk are in one room which is 4x10 feet and each is in one end ot the room. It is the first part that was built. It has a 30 gallon water supply on top and drains down into the faucet. There are 12volt lights throughout the treehouse.and the back porch.
This desk is where I relax and drink my coffee. Though not in the picture there is a radio and battery operated TV and an oscillating fan overhead. The trap door is just to the right of the chair in the floor.
This is the view standing on the back porch looking through the kitchen which has the desk on the left side and the kitchen on the right into the large 12x8 living/bed room which has the heater and 2 windows. (the john is at the far end)
This heater is a smoker with the inside racks taken out and the water pan in the botom. It has a smoke stack and pinecones and small limbs are used in it for heat. It takes about 10 minutes to raise the temp from 32 to 70 degrees. The tin is for extra protection.
Of course no house is complete without the john.
