"Reality is for people who can't handle science fiction"-somebody
Fantastic fiction is perhaps both the real literature of modern times and the literature of the ages. Below we shall find writings and links relating to this.
Conquering the Earth for Fun and Profit
How and why do those aliens conquer our dirt ball? Should they even try?
What would aliens be like? Would they be humans with funny noses and foreheads? How "human" would they be?
The Margaret Atwood Science Fiction Competition
Is science fiction more than the popular perception of aliens and robots and spaceships?
What shows rate "Classic" status? What shows come really close?
The MIT Science Fiction Society
A famed SF organization.
Forrest J Ackerman's Wide Webbed World
The web site of perhaps the first grand fan; the man said to be the first to don a costume at an SF con and who coined the term "sci-fi". Also noted for writings and editing of various magazines about movie monsters, and other things.
Science Fiction Resource Guide. This page contains an extensive collection of links to SF resources on the Net. Subject areas include other archives and resource guides, authors, art and artists, bibliographies, movies, television, bookstores, book reviews, role-playing games, zines, etc. Some of the topics include Anne Rice, Bram Stoker, Jules Verne, H G Wells, Star Wars, Star Trek, nanotechnology, vampire fiction, and more. The site is maintained by Chaz Boston Baden. (this description from the site)
Billed as "the premiere site for genre writing", this site supports science fiction, fantasy, horror, and other popular fiction types. It has newsgroups and stuff, but most interestingly it hosts a slew of writer's web pages.
The Lurker's Guide to Babylon 5
Almost everything you need to know about B5, in particular an episode guide.
AugurToo's Guide to Earth: Final Conflict
An episode guide and other information for Earth:Final Conflict.
The Official Earth: Final Conflict Site
The Official E:FC site. There are sub-pages for the Taelons, the Resistance, and Augar.
A rather original idea; this site keeps track of how many people (vampires and demons don't count) are killed on the grounds of the high school in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A lot of other Buffy info.
About everything you'd want to know about Buffy the Vampire Slayer. While it has an episode guide, unlike "The Lurkers's Guide to B5" and "AugurToo's Guide to Earth: Final Conflict" there's nothing about as yet unseen episodes. The comments, however, are far more thorough. I like the site name. :)
The Official "Buffy" site. It's really quite good, with lots of bells and whistles using "Shockwave" stuff, and message boards and actor info, and background info and, oh go and see it, already. :)
An attempt at a biography of The Doctor in all his lives.
More links will be added in time.
