I became a construction superintendent in 1970 after graduating from the University of Georgia, and that's still what I'm doing today. There's been only a few times in my career when I was not supervising commercial construction projects. The projects vary considerably in size and type from high-rise office buildings, hospitals, paper mill, banks, and retail buildings. The year by year chart below shows a greater detail into the jobs I worked on each year. |
Sue and I have been married for about 31 years and live near Dawsonville,
Georgia.
We have two children and three grandchildren. Most of my jobs are outside
the state
of Georgia; therefore, we spend little time at home. We live in our 38' Avion
Fifth
Wheel Trailer when we are not at home.
I have worked continuously since graduating from college except for vacations
I
chose to take between jobs or between employers. I have never used
alcohol, drugs,
or tobacco products and have never received unemployment payments, workers
compensation, or welfare from the government. I've been lucky having
never spent
a night in a hospital as a patient.
