Negotiations
- As a regular part of our services, we assist the client in pre-contract
negotiations by providing recommendations of construction materials, analysis
of potential problem areas and cost estimates that enable the client to
prepare realistic proposals, compatible with the client's requirements.
Design influencing factors such as soil conditions, water tables, foundation
systems, local construction practices and a relative suitability of construction
materials can thus be taken into account in the negotiating and writing
of the contract.
Preliminary Studies and Designs - After the consulting design contract has been signed, we provide studies of alternative design approaches to aid the client in determining the final design solution. Comparative engineering designs are prepared for each of the proposed systems considered to be appropriate for the intended projects. Included in these studies are the factors of cost, aesthetics, space planning, site topography, site geotechnical conditions, exterior and interior climate, the use of interior spaces, and a multitude of other factors, providing the client with a design that will represent the optimum solution for a given project with particular requirements.
Project Development - Our professional team with extensive hands-on experience in the construction business, based on client's particular requirements, proceeds to develop the project. Conceptual Designs Alternatives are prepared through a creative and organized approach to optimize cost and/or performance of a facility or system.
Engineering Services - Engineering design service, starts with preliminary layouts, incorporating the design decisions reached through analysis of the prior comparative studies. Project working drawings are coordinated closely with the architect's and other consultants' production schedules so that, typically, the entire project is completed and delivered within the shortest possible time. All engineering drawings are prepared by our in-house, fully integrated CADD system, tailored to our client requirements. Through our efficient in-house project management system we exchange, on a daily basis, drawing files, via E-mail, with all other consultants. The continuous exchange of information combined with a total client interaction and the highly developed skills of our staff members has enabled us to provide our clients with quality services and complete projects. Our vast library of details, contains over 30 years of engineering experience, imagination and practicality, combined with the realization of architectural intent within cost boundaries, is offered regularly by this firm as a team support to its clients. All engineering drawings are fully integrated with the construction specifications and are edited under the CONDOC system.
Construction Specifications - Construction Specifications Documents, are included in our engineering services and are prepared under the CSI Spectext format, the latest edition.
Job Surveillance -
Field inspection of construction site is assigned to experienced personnel
trained for an efficient
job surveillance, construction quality control (CQC) and construction quality
management (CQM). Each project is directly supervised by the project manager
under the direct supervision of the principal, who is responsible for the
work through completion.
