I love visiting schools and talking to students who like to write and who like to read. I've spoken to students in California, Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Montana, Ohio, Texas, Vermont, and Virginia - and that's only up to now! I love to travel and meet young authors.

Some of the programs I do are assembly presentations for large groups of students. I share what it's like to be a writer, and how I came to be one. I'll also let you in on how I get my ideas and how I develop them into stories, so you can try the same things in your own writing.
I can also do smaller class presentations to discuss specific books with classes that have studied them, or to discuss things like how I do my research (a lot of exploring with a little daring mixed in!). And I can do interactive writing workshops with individual classes in which we work together to plot a story. I'm also happy to autograph my books.
