DECKHAND MAKING HIS KNOT

This painting depicts a deckhand securing a coal barge to a lock wall. This scene is a common occurance on the inland waterways. I did this painting at the Gallipolis Lock on the Ohio River. The overall size of the piece is 12 inches by 14 inches matted. The actual image area measures 6 inches by 8 inches. The piece is hand signed and numbered and printed on the finest quality 120lb watercolor paper.
