Luke 14:15-24 And when one of them that SAT AT MEAT WITH HIM heard these things, he said unto him, BLESSED IS HE THAT SHALL EAT BREAD IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
Eating BREAD in GOD'S KINGDOM may not be as easy as some would hope it to be. In this Chapter we see INVITATIONS that are given, and EXCUSES that are made, and things SUBSTITUTED for WORSHIP.
JESUS SAID: Luke 13:24 STRIVE {to contend in games to struggle with difficulties} to ENTER IN AT THE STRAIT GATE: for MANY, I say unto you, will SEEK {thinking, meditating, reasoning, enquire into} to enter in, and shall not be able.
In this Parable we see:
I. THE SUFFICIENT SUBSTITUTE.
Vr#15 ......Blessed Is He That Shall Eat Bread In The Kingdom Of God.
(a). The Bread Is A Symbol Of Christ.
Matt 26:26-29 And as they were eating, JESUS TOOK BREAD, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; THIS IS MY BODY. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it NEW WITH YOU IN MY FATHER'S KINGDOM.
(b). The Kingdom Is A Shelter For Christians.

II. THE STEADFAST SERVANTS.
Luke 14:16-17 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
(a). The Sufficient Supper.
Vr #16 ..... "a GREAT supper"
(b). The Sent Servants.
Vr #17 .... "And SENT HIS SERVANTS" {Bought with a price}
